Options Youth provides therapeutic foster homes that offer stable care arrangements to meet the long term needs of children and adolescents. We also provide shorter term residential placements for children in crisis, and for children in need of medical foster care. Our foster parents have diverse educational backgrounds and extensive experience as parents and caregivers of children with extraordinary needs.
Options Youth supports each foster home by providing a Case Manager, Child and Youth Worker, Part-Time Relief Workers, and if needed, access to the Therapy Program. We believe that it is important to work with the family as a whole, and therefore involve all members of the foster family in our programs, services, and activities.
Options Youth promotes professional development, peer sharing, consultation and support among its foster care teams. Foster parents are involved in continuous learning, with training and education consistently provided on a monthly basis. Professional child care workers are available to provide regular periods of relief from natural and foster child parenting responsibilities.
